Suckers!

These two had a case of the Mondays until Mom pulled out some suckers. There's just something about sugar that makes kids cooperate. God job, Mom!

Cousin Laura

Greg's cousin Mike was in town taking a test today, and I was lucky enough to watch his daughter Laura for a few hours. She and Evie had a blast together. I cannot imagine having twins...they are very close in age and it made for a busy busy morning. It's funny how different they are. Laura is so active and non-stop and Evie kind of reminded me of Eeyore, because she'd be slowly following not really caring if she caught up or not. It was funny to watch them.

It kind of looks like Evie took this one of herself. But don't worry Greg she isn't touching that camera!

Evie's Christmas Party

Evie was invited to a Christmas party, along with all of the hospital employees' children. She got her face painted by a hobo/clown/type and also got to sit on the big guy's lap. She didn't know what to think at first but then he gave her a stuffed donkey (every little girl's dream), and she warmed up to him.

I'm not sure who this kid is, but he gave me a chuckle, so I took his picture.

Posing

The cure for posed pictures is a four year old who refuses to pose :) Little Molly here made my day with the way she was playing it up for the camera. This house was amazing, and I hope they invite me back in warm weather so we can get some shots on their amazing front steps. Thanks for inviting me, Katie...and KK..thanks for the referral!

Ever since...

..Greg and I put Evie on that table to take her picture by the Christmas tree she's been begging to get on all of our furniture. So I thought she'd enjoy sitting on her wardrobe in her room, and I was right. I think she just really likes to feel like a big girl, which makes me wonder, would she like to sit on the potty? Don't worry, I won't post pictures of that.

Trying something a little different

I officially have the world's longest running cough. In a minute I'm going to go take some NyQuil so that I can get some rest, but first here are some pics from today. I just love my little model. She's such a good sport and judging by her expression you'd never know that mommy had a paci on her head trying to get the baby to laugh. On an unrelated note our Christmas lights are finally up outside. The Griswalds are ready to celebrate an old fashioned Christmas. Break out the egg nog!

My last attempt at getting Evie to wear a silly Christmas hat...

Shoes

I found a box of shoes last night that baby Jordan had worn and gave to Evie. Thank goodness! I love the Dorothy shoes.

More from this weekend

This family wanted some additional family shots, so I went back and did some more. I thought it was so cute that when I was pulling up they were walking in the driveway holding hands, so I snapped this one from the car. Pshaw! Yeah right! Actually it wouldn't have surprised me since they are such a warm loving family but no...the wanna be photographer asked them to do it :) By the way, no cops were out when I went here.

Christmas

I did another shoot for the Fausts today...they wanted some pictures of little Mackenzie in her Christmas dress. Isn't she a princess? The only thing not magical about this one is that I got pulled over one the way there. I thought the officer was being nice waving me to pass him, but the little booger only did it so he could pull me over! Apparently I was speeding and "tailgating" him. My thought was, if I was speeding, and I was tailgating you, does that mean you were speeding too? Luckily no ticket. He walked away being the hero though, being as he decided not to give me the $175 citation.

"This is How We...

..brush our teeth. Pay close attention. It's like the kamikaze instructor pilot said to his students, 'watch closely because I'm only doing this once.' First, take your tooth brush in your hand like this:"

"Then put the brush in your mouth like this:"

"You can even turn it over if you want to, like this. My mommy doesn't like it when I do it this way, but I keep telling her it's all the same."

"Next time we'll talk about how to unplug our baby monitors...any questions?"
