Pajama Day

It's spirit week at the Willhelms. Today is pajama day. All jammies, all the time. We are so tired of being inside! This rain is really bringing us down. Picture taking is our only reprieve. Evie is honking her nose in one of these. Pretty cute, just don't let her honk your nose. I'm still missing skin from yesterday. At first it's just an innocent honk and then she tries to actually take it off your face with her fingernails.

Life is Good

How many different pictures can I make out of one pose? Seven. How happy is Evie to stand in a chair? Very. Nothing makes her happier than standing in a chair. It must be a power thing. Don't you just love the color of our grass...it's green with the slightest hint of dead in it. If you are seeing only green grass, you're looking at the neighbor's grass. If you see brown blades, that's us.

Thanksgiving at Grandma's House

What could be more fun than hanging out in the back of a pickup, climbing lots of stairs, sitting on wobbly furniture (with Grandma standing close by), making racket on a piano, and eating off of other people's plates? Evelyn had a great Thanksgiving! She's about 3 pounds heavier, but who isn't? Here are some pictures of the festivities, minus the food shoveling. Back by popular demand is my niece Jordan. I like the piano picture, because no one asked Jordan to put her hand on Evie's back but she was looking out for her little cousin, as always!

Socks

"PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get these socks off of me! And why did you take my paci?"

"Much better!"

"So much for 95th percentile in height! Now I'm 250th percentile! Can I stand up here all day? Dare me to jump?"

Awesome Family

I had the best experience today with this super blue eyed family. Below you can see the father and daughter dancing. They said that whenever they are playing a game, the winner gets to dance with their dad. Then he starts singing some music and they dance slowly, and then it gets faster and faster and he spins them, throws them over his shoulder, etc. The kids were literally fighting over who got to dance with daddy for the camera. Later when I was taking a few of just the parents, the dad told me that he'd kiss on his wife as much as I needed him to. They are really just an awesome family, and photogenic too!

Window Gazing

Evie has become extremely attached to her many blankies, and I'm not sure why but I think it's really cute. She also got her first baby doll yesterday so she's been loving on that today too. And I've been loving on her and taking her picture (over and over and over)

The Farmer

My mom's sister and her husband have a little getaway out in the country where they have several acres of land, and a house type building where they have family over a lot and also sleep there sometimes. This past weekend we all went out there. I know taking pictures in direct sun is bad, and it sure made Evie squinty. But I just really like her in this swing. My cousin Hannah was there, and I hadn't seen her in over 3 years, so I was excited about that. She needed a new picture for her myspace, so I'm posting that too. Isn't she pretty? I love her freckles.

Bath Baby

Unlike most dogs, Evie loves taking a bath. I hadn't taken any pictures of her in the tub with my new camera, so I snapped some this morning. Don't worry Greg, I kept the camera away from the water. So here she is in all her wet glory playing with her bath toys..you know, the usual...a ball, a rubber duck, a toaster, and a blow dryer.

A Friend of a Friend

Jack's mom from the post Jack Rocks sent my blog link to a friend of hers, also named Sara. She invited me to come and take pictures of her little cutie, Mackenzie. It was a lot of fun; they were really laid back and didn't mind me in their faces with my camera. Sara and I hope to get Evie and Mackenzie together for a playdate sometime, but for now I just showed Evie the pictures. She smiled at the baby, and I think you will too. She's beautiful!

Never Taken Pictures in This Room Before...

So we tried it out. She had just woken up from a nap and had bed head, but I thought why not show people what she really looks like?!

Not Too Cold

I'm really bummed about winter being so close now, so I'm trying to make the most of what warm weather we have left. I bundled Evie up in her favorite blanket and pushed her to the park in her stroller today. She swung on the swings, and that was about it...her little hands were getting cold so she had to get bundled back up again, but not before I had a chance to snap some pictures. If you get your super strength magnifying glass and look closely at her shirt (or just click on the picture and make it bigger), it says Team Elmo. She was traded from Team Big Bird for top dollar this year, and she got a shoe deal with it too. Nike is relentless when it comes to these early walkers.
