Evie's new favorite food is peanuts...thanks Aunt Brenda ;) Check out the booboo's on her knees. She fell 4 times on the concrete in one day. She'll tell you all about them too. Now we just try to stick to the grass.

sydney's half birthday

Some friends of ours had this great idea since their daughter's birthday is just a few days away from Christmas. It's cold in December, and nobody wants to compete with Jesus' birthday, so they celebrate Sydney's half birthday in June instead. They threw a great party, and Evie helped out by opening a few of Sydney's presents. Here are a few of your cutie, Christina. (And I had to throw in one of mine to keep the grandparents happy;)

This last picture was taken in a hay loft...in a chair from 1832. Actually I don't know how old it was, but it looked like it had some character so we took it everywhere we went!

I found this at a yard sale..actually Evie found it at a yard sale. They were charging $3 per eye for a total of $3. It was worth every penny!

I found this dress on my way home from work at a Once Upon a Child store for $4.50. I almost felt guilty leaving after not really having paid much for it. Evie was so excited to try it on, and she was also excited that it had this matching bandana..."baby..hat!" she said. She also got some baby gouchos..what a steal! I can't wait to wear mine at the same time she wears hers! Mommy and Evie matching, what could be better? I'm not sure if I've got this bandana on her correctly. If you know better than I do, just let me know how she should be wearing it. I looked at the syrup bottle and this is how Auntie Jamima was wearing it.

You know what really has me giddy? The thought of having two little ones to photograph together! Two little girls in matching dresses, that'd be great..or a little boy to compliment our little princess, that'd be fun too. I guess we'll see!

I do like this cool weather though. Keeps the swelling down! We went to the grocery store today, and the deli lady told Evie bye and have a good day. So now Evie has been saying that to people in the store, people walking by our house, etc. "Bye! (something something) Day!"

we treat you right

Evie was in ice cream heaven tonight. We took her to DQ and for the first time ever, we let her have her own cone. She is constant entertainment. Everyone standing in line was watching and laughing, hardly able to believe that we'd let her have her own cone. It was well worth it. I love seeing her so happy. If it takes food to get her there then so be it!
